Individual Therapy

Therapy can be hard, but it doesn’t have to be.
Many of my clients tell me that they look forward to our sessions each week.
Don’t get me wrong, I will push you and challenge you.
But, I will do it from a place of compassion and hope for growth.

Common issues we can work on together include:

  • Relationship issues: Most of us struggle with trust, boundaries, and true connection to others. We can figure out how to get you on track with the relationships in your life whether it’s with a romantic partner(s) or with family, friends, and coworkers.

  • Anxiety/Panic attacks: This includes generalized anxiety or specific phobias. I have specialized training to help you develop tools to decrease your anxiety, worry, and panic.

  • Depression: Sometimes we don’t even know what our baseline is. Common symptoms of depression that fly under the radar include exhaustion, irritability, difficulty making decisions, and a lack of prioritizing self-care. Sound familiar?

  • Attachment Issues: We all have a particular attachment style that we developed during childhood. Having knowledge of your own attachment style and working from this lens can greatly improve your ability to move healthily through the world.

  • Grief: Grief work isn’t about just losing a loved one. We also need to move through grief when we have a loss of a marriage, job, identity, or even supposed good things like a child moving away to college. Grief is hard. We can navigate it together.

  • Addictions: Addictions come in all different forms. Getting to the core of the underlying pain and developing a recovery plan that works for you will help get you back on track.

  • Life Transitions & General Self Improvement: Together we can work to identify and meet your goals as you become your optimal self.
