“When we trust the goodness in others, we become a mirror to help them trust themselves.”

— Tara Brach

Hello, I’m Nell. I am a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate. I specialize in the treatment of Substance Abuse Disorders and Co-Occurring Disorders, grounded in Attachment Based Theory and Mentalization Based Therapy. Additionally I am trained in, and practice, Attachment Based EMDR trauma therapy.

I also offer EMDR (Attachment-Focused) and Motivational Interviewing. As a recovery coach, I am compassionate, encouraging, and direct, with a genuine desire to help individuals meet their goals and realize secure relationships with themselves and others.

I combine education, creativity, and a sense of humor with a down-to-earth, realistic approach. I work with individuals to address underlying issues without judgment or shame, so that they may heal from parts of the self that are no longer serving them.

I feel all individuals are capable of their own healing by accessing their innate sense of self and lived experience.

Recovery is possible…
and even fun!

My spirited approach motivates individuals to embrace their upward spiral and reclaim joy in their lives.
